Kelly is an American with a heart for Rwanda. In 2021, during the height of covid, Kelly started Joyful Kind of Love to provide for struggling Rwandan families. This small vision has grown into a ministry that serves an impoverished area of Kigali, Rwanda, providing training in sewing, food programs, medical treatments and child sponsorship to those in need. Joyful Kind of Love also shares the good news of Jesus to further the Kingdom of the Lord.
Nella is a Rwandan artist and painter who is passionate about caring for others with the love of Christ. Having grown up as an orphan on the street of Kigali, Rwanda, Nella knows firsthand the need of our families in the Joyful community. The Lord has blessed him and changed his life. This experience has given him a heart to help others struggling to keep their family fed and housed in a safe home. Seeing lives changed is pure JOY for Nella.
